その野沢雅子さんからこんなお話を聞きました。


まだ、テレビでドラゴンボールが放映されていた数年前、野沢さんに一通の手紙が届き、そこには
「子供がドラゴンボールの大ファンです。
しかし、医者から余命1ヵ月と宣告されています。力を貸してください」
と、差出人は病気で入院している子供のお父さんで、1月下旬頃にいただいたそうです。


そこで野沢さんはドラゴンボールの出演声優に声をかけ、

カセットテープにアニメキャラクターの声で励ましのメッセージを吹き込まれました。

そのテープの最後に野沢さんは悟空の声で

「夏休みに映画館で待ってるから、絶対見に来いよな！待ってるぜ！！」と、

吹き込み、カセットテープを病院に送ったそうです。


8月に再びそのお父さんから手紙が届き、そこにはこう書かれていたそうです。


「ありがとうございました。息子は8月まで生きることができました。

医者は”奇跡だ！医者としてすべき事は2月で終わっていました。
半年も生き続けた生命力はアニメの力です”と、言われました。

息子は亡くなるまで『悟空と約束したから映画館に会いに行くんだ・・・』と、

毎日、毎日、そのカセットテープを聴き続けていました」と、書かれていたそうです。
